Adult Congenital Cardiac Disease – what you always wanted to know
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our great pleasure and honor to invite you to participate in the 1st European Teaching Course on „Adult Congenital Cardiac Disease“ which is going to be held in Antalya, Turkey on November 28th – 29th, 2008. This course is a joint project of the working groups "Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease" of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC-WG GUCH) and the Association for European Paediatric Cardiology (AEPC).
The program includes topics on almost every aspect of adult congenital cardiac disease, given as state-of-the art lectures. The course is given for those who would like to update their knowledge on new developments in adult congenital cardiac disease, as well as for those who would like to get a first overview about this exciting and evolving subspecialty in cardiology.
We believe the course will be attractive not only to adult or pediatric cardiologists and surgeons, but also to cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, neonatologists, pathologists, nurse specialists, and sonographers. This course will be held in conjunction with the 4th Congress of „Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery“, organized by Prof. Öztekin Oto. We are most grateful to Prof. Öztekin Oto. Only his kindness and support made this course become real. We can assure that, besides an excellent scientific meeting, you will enjoy Turkish hospitality and a stimulating atmosphere in a 5 star De Luxe Resort Hotel near Antalya.
This Congress will give an opportunity not only to share knowledge, but also to meet old friends and make new friends from European countries. The organizers once again invite you to come to Antalya, Turkey, and bring friends, colleagues, trainees, students, and family, along with you. We are also hoping that these ESC-/ AEPC-courses will become tradition and will continue in the future.
We look forward to welcoming you personally in Antalya.
