Adult Congenital Heart Disease: East meets West and West meets East
Distinguished Colleagues,
after the big success of our ESC- and AEPC-teaching courses in 2008 and 2009, it is our great pleasure and honor to invite you to participate in the sessions on „Adult Congenital Heart Disease“ in Izmir, Turkey, on April 15th – 18th, 2010. These session are going to be held during the 59th International Congress of the European Society for CardioVascular Surgery in conjunction with the 6th Congress of Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery - Heart and Health Foundation of Turkey in Izmir, Turkey, on September 15th – 18th, 2010.
This course is a joined project with the working groups „Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease“ of the Association for European Pediatric Cardiology (AEPC), the German Cardiac Society (DGK), the German Competence Network, and the Asia-Pacific Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease (APSACHD).
We hope this meeting will extend the already existing and promising international collaboration in the field of Adult Congenital Heart Disease - East meets West and West meets East.
This time, the program is focusing on interventional valve replacement, treatment of arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension in Adult Congenital Cardiac Disease.
The course is given for those who would like to update their knowledge about adult congenital heart disease, as well as for those who would like to get an up-to-date overview about this exciting and evolving subspecialty in cardiology. We believe the sessions will be attractive not only to adult or pediatric cardiologists and surgeons, but also to cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, neonatologists, pathologists, nurse specialists, and sonographers.
Also I would like to inform you that the whole scientific program was accretited by EBAC with 24 CME credits.
We can assure that, besides an excellent scientific meeting, you will enjoy Turkish hospitality and a stimulating atmosphere in Izmir. This Congress will give an opportunity not only to share knowledge, but also to meet old friends and make new friends from all over the world.
The organizers once again urge you to come to Izmir, Turkey, and bring friends, colleagues, trainees, students, and family, along with you.
We look forward to welcoming you personally in Izmir.
